No big whoop, but I would still love to see some different forum ranks here Aft. In my opinion, they still too closely resemble the OF ranks (i.e. Tactical Officer and the sort). I think the forum ranking here should be much more varied, and because I'm sad like that, I'll give you some reasons. I am a "Tactical Officer". So are many other people that have twice the number of posts that I do. I don't know this forum software, but I can't imagine that it's much different than others as far as forum titles go, so I'm sure you can add as many as you want. Variety is the spice of life, so I think it'd be fun for us forum whores to log in one day and make a post, and see that we are now some new silly rank. I think it would serve to set these boards apart from the OF boards, and give a little more flavor here. I know you're busy as shit Aft, so I have provided a sample of what I would consider, including samples (these are just an example so take it how you will):
# posts and the new title
0-25 - Hew Mew
26- 50 - Dishwasher
51-75 - Line Cook
76-100 - Chef
101-125 - Borderline Forumoholic
126-150 - Trying Too Hard
151-175 - Spammer In Training
176-200 - Needs Some Sunlight
(now the ranks take a step up in difficulty to achieve)
201-300 - On the Payroll
301-400 - I Have a Crusty Desk Chair
401-500 - Lives In Parent's Basement
(again, harder ranks)
501-750 - What Is This "Sex" You Speak Of?
751-1000 - Do I Get Paid For This?
(stepping it up again)
1001-1500 - I Have Aftiel's Babies
1501-2000 - Planetside? I Thought It Was These Forums
2001-3000 - Invented the Internet
So, you get the drift. Those were lame examples, but I thought it would make a nice addition to the boards. Unneeded? Sure. Fun? Hell yes. You know you wanna Aft :-*
