Anyone noticing any issues with the site's response times lately? I keep getting alot of slow page loads, and even some timeouts. Other sites are just fine, so my net connection is good to go. In fact, just running a ping I am getting extremely high packetloss just to this site :(

That's because my hosts bandwidth doesn't have the powah to give max throughput for all the connections, this should be fixed by Friday, stay tuned ;)

I think it was changed completely over to Secant's host wasn't it? But yeah i used to have problems, now this bitch flys.

Yes the whole point of the server change was for the better bandwidth. And it's all transferred now.

yah, figured, so are you paying for it and if so is there a place i can buy such a package, since it does seem fast or is someone's server you are running on?

I'm using SMF which is a free forum package found here (http://www.simplemachines.org), the hosting I am getting from Secant running on a fat pipe that depending on load is giving me "roughly 1.7gbit max out". So the majority of the speed is having a host with enough bandwidth for all your connections, of course a well coded and fast forum helps with that.
