Land Dragon Medium Battle Tank
Inspired by the Abrams/Challenger II/Merkava Main Battle tanks (the chassis anyways).
The weapons are just place holders for now, but I can easily swap them out with better/different ones.
As you can see, it has three hard points, one on either side of the turret, and one main hard-point in the turret-fork.
So, I'd assume you could equip up to three weapons on the hard points, or up to two weapons and a piece of special gear (shield, AWAC sensor, etc...)
If anyone's interested I'll post some side views and some alternate weapon configurations.
Enjoy.

*nods* I like it in concept. Probably will hash some pod options on aim with ya then go from there.

And here's a version of the Land Dragon featuring Skygod AA cannons and a Radar Pod.

Grenade pods for dealing with pesky grunts...

negatory

Quite possibly a negatory but I/we are envisioning the main guns not being able to hit within prbly 20m (anyone know actual modern MBT minimum range, I'll look it up later) so a one shot nade spammage of that zone wouldn't be too overpowered I think (notice: one shot).

Why need an anti grunt gun on it. It looks like it could possibly flatten grunts rather easliy

TBH it's an option pod I would never take but it's more for completeness of all the options I guess.

Well, perhaps a dedicated anti-infantry gun is a bad idea, I just figured I'd go through all the options.
I do believe in giving it a close-in defense against grunts *is* a good idea, so I'll post a less intimidating alternative a bit later.

How about 20 mounted heat-seeking auto-target instakill lasers?

Er, I was just thinking of giving it two 2 volley, AI grenade launchers that shot 3 grenades a piece and are fired simulateously.
It *should* be noted that the main guns can't fire w/ about 15-20m, so it has no ability to kill infantry at close range anyways. That and in the proper environment for infantry, grenade launchers wouldn't work anyways, as they'd most likely detonate on trees/rocks/other forms of cover before they could even approach hiding infantry units.
Though on the road, they'd kill you dead, as is proper...
