There are some really great and creative ideas regarding the plot for your new game in this section.* I just threw togehter this basic Rough draft of an Alternative Plot Idea for you to review.* Sorry I am late to the party, but I just saw the posts on your new game effort.

Please review (yes I know there are some large holes that need to be filled in) and provide some feedback.

The Game Name:* *
Genocide - The Online Wars

PLOT SUMMARY:
Basically Humanity is forced to colonize on a new planet.
The society that gets created has no actual violence. It is ALL VIRTUAL.
All conflict is resolved on Virtual BattleWorlds.
The actual consequences of Failure in the virtual World are that THOUSANDS of people get Atomized in the real world.

In the early 21st Century Humans made great advances in technology.

- They learned how to Clone living tissues, Create Bio-Electical Computer technology.
- Created multi-Core processing,
- Created Lifelike Computer Graphics Animation.
- Built living virtual gaming worlds to play in.
- Created Artificial Computer Intelligence which could approximate human intellect but not intuition.
- Created Androids to protect and take care of us.
- Discovered a way to imprint the entire knowledge base and life's experiences stored
* *in the human brain into Bio-Electric Memory Storage.
- Created Human Clones.
- Created Space ships to explore the Galaxy.
- Created a Faster Than Light (FTL) Starship Drive system which used the Gravametric
* waves of the Local Star to propel their ships great distances into Space.
- Discovered a neighboring Galaxy that appeared to possibly contain at least one
* habitable planet.
- Created a Colony Ship to spread humanity through the stars.

But, for all their technological advances... they could not solve one basic problem they created for themselves.* *
The Human's had squandered their planet's most precious natural resources.* Their planet Earth was dieing.

It was inevitable that nuclear armegedon (WW3) over the last of the world's resources would begin.

The worlds greatest scientists and scholars saw the inevitable on the horizon, and took matters into thier own hands.*

The scientists loaded the world's genetic DNA and Knowlegebase
(captured for all humans and animals as part of the Homeland Securites Act)
into a giant Colony ship - Genesis010.*

The ship contained DNA samples, Stored Human intellect, Cloning Systems, Manufacturing systems, blueprints to rebuild a civilization, and Androids.* The androids were to reclone the population and rebuild the civilization upon arrival at the destination planet.

Ship launches,
WW3 breaks out.* *
Earth is completely obliterated.*
All Humanity on Earth dies.*
Humanity's only hope is the Colony ship Genisis010.

Ship is intercepted by Alien race.*
Aliens reprogram the Androids to take control of the Humans upon arrival.
Modifies the Genetic DNA* (good tie in for Psionics).
Aliens also download tech diagrams for Alien Technology into the Colony Ship.

Upon arrival at new Galaxy (takes hundreds of years).
Androids programming has been completely re-written by Alien viruses.
3 Androids emerge as Dominant Controllers (Rulers).
Each Android has a different Logic as to how the new world should be run.
Logically the Androids choose to divide the New world into 3 distict Empires.

Androids Reconstruct the world's population as 3 Logical Geo-Political Factions.
With 1 dominant Controller Android sitting at the top of the Empire as the Ruler.
Geo-Political Factions are kept segragated from one another.
The humans are the subjegated slaves of the Androids.
Conflicts between the Empires do arrise but are dealt with Logically and efficiently.

No Human is allowed to touch or harm another Human.
Diseases have been essentially wiped out.
Crime has been eliminated due to the Androids unfaltering Logic.
All penalties equate to death.

All Conflict is resolved in Virtual Arena's.
All disagreements (Android or Human) are resolved on Virtual Battleworlds.
The Androids use human warriors to control thier Virtual Soldiers.
Androids realize that their logic has shortcommings on the battlefield.
Human's have the ability to use logic, intuition, gut feelings, and creative problem solving to come up with viable battlefield strategies.* The human subject have a reason to fight.* (see below)

The Outcome of the Virtual Battles is real enough.
When it is determined that there are casualties in the virtual war,
the Androids cull the number of calculated dead from their Human Population.
The calculated dead are carted off to the Atomizer.* (take off from an old Star Trek TOS Episode)

This entire system has existed for eons...
Humanity lives and dies by this system every day.
Every Citizen knows their duty, and accepts it.
When you activate your Battle Console, you may be fighting for the very existience of your Friends, your Family, your Neighbors, Your life.

The Virtual Battlefields are pre-defined and governed by the Empires populations.
The collective majority of the Empire get to vote on the Rules, Vehilces, Weapons,
Valid Tactics, and overall Design of the virtual Battlefield.

When one conflict is resolved the system is reset, the total virtual kills are tallied, and the casualties culled from the real world population.* Real world populations never fall below a set minimum threshold of people.* Androids just clone more Humans to feed thier machine.

After a reset, the new conflict rules are set up, the Virtual BattleWorlds are calibrated, and the Virtual Soldiers engage in a new Combat Scenario* to resolve the new conflict.* (perhaps this conflict is to resolve the issue of should android paint jobs be Blue and Gold or Red and Black...?)

This provides the framework for everything in your Virtual Wargame.
Players activate their Battle Console when they log in from their PC at home.
Their Virtual Character is created in the Battleworld.
Stats from battles can be tracked.* Merits can be awarded.
When people log out of the Virtual Battlefield their Virtual Characters are stored for them.

When a Virtual Character gets killed, they do not die.
They are reconstructed (spawned) at a Resupply location on the Battlefield.

Since everything in the BattleWorld is Virtual, it supports the implementation of virtual health kits, virtual vehicle repair kits, etc... You can add any virtual component into the game without having to worry about any kind of continuity issues.

The BattleWorld consists of a series of Linked Virtual World Maps (not complete worlds, just a series of Virtual world maps which represent a theater of operations on that Virtual Server.).

Each Empire has a Home DOMAIN that they can stage in.
The maps are inter-connected via Ports or Gates.
The Map Matrix can be rearranged as required to meet the specific needs of the conflict.
Entry of new troops/resources into a conflict area can be controlled by the need for active Resupply lines from the Home Domain.

The possibilities are endless...* It is the perfect Virtual Arena for a Virtual Conflict.

Dont think Genocide as the game's title will fly very far with the ESRB lol
