Glad these forums allow custom avatars. However, I must admit I was a little disappointed on the size. I was hoping for a more standard forum size avatar, like somewhere around here... This is the size I usually see, or somewhere around there.

Damn, my avatar is still smashed to 64x64.. I tried relinking it in my profile but no dice. Is it just me?

Ah, nevermind problem. solved. I used the new option to upload an image instead of link to one and that took care of it. Just cropped a little off the side to getride of that annoying scroll bar.

I found the prob. I changed the uploaded avatar size restrictions but not the external ones, now both should work @ 140x140.

Apparently it resizes images for you. My avatar pic is like 1200x750. Very convenient.

Any chance these forums could accept PNG avatars with transparent backgrounds? I rigged mine so that it has one of the forum colors behind it, but when I just did a PNG with transparency, it gave it a black background. Or am I doing something wrong? I uploaded mine, but if I linked it with a file like I said, would it come out proper? Bah, not that important in the grand scheme of things.

Avatar size seems cool to me.

Aftiel if you input an image smaller that 140x140 it stretches it (into the linked section)... If possible you might want to set to to only resize images more than the max size.
